White's eighth move (gxf3) opens the king up to attack while keeping the queen and queen's bishop from offering defence. Black's strategy for the rest of the game revolves around this.

Black's 14th move (Qg5) takes advantage of the lack of pawns on f as well as the poor formation of pawns in the center that block the White bishop from action. The more results in a king-knight fork with clear advantage of points and position for black.

The 17th move results in another piece gain for Black. White's poor pawn formation in the center and exposed king prevent proper support the for the center pawns.

Black's 20th move forks the king and rook. It also puts pressure on the king and queen, by way of defence, so that the knight might be brought into play

White's 22nd move mounts an easily deflected attack on Black's king. This is the only real attack White mounts.

Move 27 results in white losing another piece and a king rook fork. Due to the White's move in 24 that removes the queen from effective defence of the area of the board

Move 28, Black threaten mate, resulting in a swap of pieces that White can ill afford.

Black's move 30 creates a king-queen fork and the exchange of the queen for a knight. White's king is not defended and White has a bishop to match against a queen.

In move 34, Block moves rook in a feeble attack on a pawn which is easily avoided. The same pawn can be attacked with Qg2 while keeping the king under pressure.

White moving its rook in move 36 to attack Black's rook allowed Black to again fork White with the queen attacking the king and the rook attacking the rook. The end comes quickly.
